- Acrylic paint was applied with a knife along with a heavy band of crackle paste. This shows the image transfer of birds already applied as well.

- Painted lines and handwritten text of the poem applied using watercolor pencils

- water color pencils sprayed for drip effect

- Paint knifed on top and blue mixed with two mediums to create a faux encaustic feel on the bottom half
