Painting 50 marks my halfway mark, so instead of listing the piece for sale, I did a give-away for Facebook fans and newsletter subscribers. Thanks to all who entered and for your continued support as I enter the second half of this crazy project!

This is a 24 x 30″ mixed media piece on gallery wrapped canvas. I built the background for the sky by laying down printouts of old letters from a sailor writing home, and am pretty happy that they still peak through on the final piece. Congratulations to Jillian Liedtke for winning the raffle!
