11 x 14″ mixed media on 1/2″ canvas. I literally cannot say the word “poppies” without thinking of The Wizard of Oz, but that’s beside the point. 🙂

I used some pages of a very old copy of Robin Hood handed down from Evelyn that I have used before in some of my pieces. I think the cover was ripped or something, so I’ve been pulling from this book for a while and giving it a second life in my art. This canvas was one of many 11 x 14″ canvasses she gave me with a piece started on it that she wasn’t happy with. Gesso and some love is getting these out into the world!
