This was a piece I had started last year, but never quite finished or listed for sale. I am inspired to do spring related pieces this week, and purple flowers bursting through the snow and darkness seem like a good way to start.
This is done on 11 x 14″ watercolor paper. Right after completion it does not lay completely flat as you can probably tell, but I do press the paper so it is flat for shipping and framing.
